Food provision for older people receiving homecare: Identifying some barriers and facilitators

Dr Sarah Barnes (University of Sheffield)
Malnutrition is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality, particularly amongst the older population. Attention has been focused on the inadequacies of food provision in institutions, yet the majority of those suffering from malnutrition live in the community. The aim of this presentation is to explore some of the barriers and facilitators to food provision for older people receiving home care.
