The Care England Conference Looks at the Future of Care

The Care England 2017 Conference & Exhibition, 'Shaping Tomorrow', at Church House Conference Centre, Westminster, London, on 16 November is approaching fast and care providers who have not yet booked are encouraged to register soon.

The pieces are all in place for another successful conference. Informed speakers will talk about the innovations which are shaping the future of the sector, for example; Telehealth; the Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership; the NHS Mail, IG Toolkit and Care Passports.

The day's programme also features an exhibition of 35 product and service suppliers, plus 10 seminars from leading sector organisations. These too will look to the future and offer delegates expert views on topics such as Social Care in 2050, General Data Protection Regulation, Driving Innovation in Social Care, and Effective Digital Marketing to increase enquiries.

A conference for all care providers

Professor Martin Green, Care England Chief Executive, says:

“This conference will provide an opportunity for everyone in the front line of care, not just Care England members, to share their experiences with fellow care practitioners and benefit from the expertise on offer from the speakers and exhibitors. This is one conference I believe you won't want to miss”.

Notes to editors:

  1. Care England works to ensure that care services are commissioned fairly, efficiently and on a properly funded basis, to meet the true costs of providing quality care.  A Care England survey in July 2017 noted that 45% of providers are projecting to take on less Local Authority placements over the next 3 years due to low rates being paid by councils
