The UK’s Health and Social Care Procurement specialist donates 30,000 face masks to Care homes and Charities
Protecting staff on the front line in the fight against Covid-19
As the world faces an extraordinary challenge, Marr Procurement is focusing efforts towards supporting Care homes and Charities in the fight against Covid-19.
Marr Procurement, the UK’s Health and Social Care Procurement specialist has donated 30,000 face masks to fifteen randomly selected clients - supporting those on the front-line within Social Care to keep safe.
These much-needed supplies will be hand delivered by Marr Procurement employees who will drive to clients in their own cars, following social distancing guidelines of course.
Many of their clients, including care homes, charities and national housing organisations, were battling – due to unprecedented demand as well as a lack of time and resources – to not only to get hold of essential PPE, but also struggling to get hold of trusted suppliers to order stock at acceptable prices.
Christoph Marr, the CEO and Founder of Marr Procurement, said: “There are three million Social Care and NHS heroes in the UK, all of whom are relying heavily on PPE during this crisis. In times like this we should all be helping others.
The whole Marr Procurement team felt we should give back to our community of amazing clients who have supported the growth of our business over the last five years. That’s why we bought, have donated and will personally distribute 30,000 face masks, most of which will go to our charity clients.
