Who we support

Care Home Open Day

For far too long the care home sector has been marred by the negative press generated by a small number of badly run homes, and we’re determined to show people what our care homes are really about. We want the world to realise that care homes really can be inspiring places, full of unique, intelligent and charming characters, and run by special people that really do care. Because we’re determined to build thousands of friendships, to change long-held perceptions, to create thousands of memories, and to have a fantastic day that will enrich lives! To register your home to take part in 2019, and to find out more visit the website below.

Care England would like to encourage all of our members to register for this year's Care Home Open Day.

We are also committed to engaging with anyone who supports the following campaign goals:

  • 5 star Reputation
  • 5 star Workforce

  • 5 star Funding
  • 5 star Regulation

The CARE badge

Care England are proud to support the CARE badge and Proud to support those who CARE

The CARE™ badge is a unifying symbol of pride in our social care champions; those providing, receiving and supporting care. It is a clear demonstration of your pride in the quality work you do and our appreciation for the care and support we receive. It is long overdue recognition for the 2 million people employed in care outside the NHS, as well as the 7 million more unpaid carers across the UK.

Find out how to get your badge HERE.

The Care Workers Charity

There are nearly 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of Britain’s largest workforces, and caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society. As a country, we depend on our care workers to be there for us on our rainy day. The Care Workers Charity is there for them on theirs. To find out how you can support the Charity please get in touch.
