 n&nbsp\;\n\nRecognising the urgent need to share this message and imbue re
 silience in the care sector\, the Cyber Centre of Excellence\, Digital Car
 e Hub\, and Care England are proudly partnering to deliver the second in a
  three-part series of educational cyber security workshops designed to pre
 pare all members of the care sector to defend against modern cyber-attacks
 .\n\nThe free online session aimed to empower care leaders\, managers and 
 frontline teams from residential and domiciliary care environments with pr
 actical\, jargon-free advice on how to build digital resilience and protec
 t their organisations from growing cyber threats.\n\nIn the 90-minute sess
 ion\, we struck a balance between education and interaction\, ensuring car
 e providers of all technical abilities could participate. The structure in
 cluded one hour of educational content and games\, followed by an optional
  30-minute open Q&amp\;A discussion to address any pressing concerns about
  cyber risks.\n\nWorkshop Two explored the dark web and the hidden threats
  that could impact care organisations. Attendees learned how login credent
 ials could end up on the dark web and how this exposure could lead to cybe
 r-attacks. After attending Workshop One\, participants could sign up for a
  free dark web scan from the Cyber Centre of Excellence to identify any co
 mpromised credentials linked to their organisation’s email domain\, alon
 g with tailored guidance to address vulnerabilities.\nWhat You Gained\n\n 
 	A clear understanding of what an “attack surface” was - and why it ma
 ttered for care.\n 	Insight into asset discovery\, including unmanaged dev
 ices\, systems and supply chain vulnerabilities.\n 	A breakdown of the sur
 face\, deep and dark web - and how exposed data travelled between them.\n 
 	Guidance on BYOD (bring your own device)\, AI usage\, and Shadow IT risks
 .\n 	Practical advice on breach monitoring\, remediation and continuous pr
 otection - aligned with NCSC guidance.\n\n\n&nbsp\;
