DESCRIPTION:\nDue to demand and the recent BT announcements (including date
  change)\, Orbital Net are running another 'Digital Switch Off' webinar to
  provide an update and overview of the upcoming switch off and how it will
  affect your care home moving forward.\n\n&nbsp\;\nOverview:\n\n\nIn 2015 
 BT announced they will be switching off their ISDN (Integrated Services Di
 gital Network) and PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) services\, whi
 ch will result in traditional landline connections ceasing and voice calls
  in the future needing to be made over IP.\n\nCare homes will need to ensu
 re they have a suitable broadband and telephony service in place and activ
 ated prior to the switch off to avoid a complete loss of phone service.\n\
 nIt is imperative that care homes are prepared well in advance due to infr
 astructure degradation\, reduced engineers and geographical areas migratin
 g earlier than others.\n\nIf you have other systems connected to your phon
 e line\, such as intruder and lift alarms\, telecare systems\, emergency r
 ed phones. Epos machines\, CCTV\, or even some half-hourly electricity met
 ers\, then these will also cease to work.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\nWe hope you
