  but often overlooked issue in the care sector: three in four care home re
 sidents are living with hearing loss\, a figure projected to rise to 80% b
 y 2032. Untreated hearing loss is not simply an inconvenience of ageing\, 
 it can lead to social isolation\, low mood\, communication breakdown\, and
  even accelerate cognitive decline. For staff and providers\, it also incr
 eases workload\, affects quality ratings\, and creates avoidable costs.\n\
 nThe challenge is clear: residents need timely\, effective care for ear an
 d hearing health\, yet access is limited. Too often\, staff must rely on r
 eferrals or hospital visits that take residents out of their familiar envi
 ronment\, delay treatment\, and place added strain on already stretched se
 rvices.\n\nThis webinar explored how we can respond to Care England’s ca
 ll to action by making ear and hearing health a routine part of care deliv
