DESCRIPTION:Launch event\nFunded by Skills for Care and led by Dr Trish Haf
 ford-Letchfield (University of Strathclyde) and Lawrence Roberts (LGBT Fou
 ndation)\, this learning framework for working with LGBTQ+ people in later
  life aims to provide a base for identifying the insights\, knowledge\, un
 derstanding and skills that the social care workforce need to help them wo
 rk affirmatively\, inclusively and effectively with individuals from gende
 r and sexually diverse communities.\n\nThe framework also identifies and a
 rticulates more systematically\, the key topics that should underpin best 
 practices with LGBTQ+ older people and their carers and advocates in socia
 l care.\n\nAbout the event\n\nWith input from Dr Trish Hafford-Letchfield\
 , Professor of Social Work\, University of Strathclyde\, and Lawrence Robe
 rts\, Pride in Ageing Manager\, LGBT Foundation\, the launch event will of
