 nCyber incidents can be worrying and disruptive for any care service - but
  being prepared makes all the difference. This session was part 3 of the C
 RC Network Care Cyber Series\, delivered in partnership with Care Provider
 s Alliance and Care England.\nThis webinar showed care providers practical
  ways to assess their current cyber resilience\, prepare their teams\, and
  plan what to do if an incident occurred. Using free tools such as the Nat
 ional Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) My Cyber Action Toolkit\, Police Cy
 ber Alarm\, and Cyber PATH\, attendees learned how to identify gaps\, test
  their response\, and take clear next steps.\nNo technical expertise was r
 equired\, the session was designed to be accessible\, practical\, and rele
 vant for everyone in the care sector.\n\n\n\nWhat the session covered\n\n\
 n 	Understanding cyber risks in the current care landscape\, including pre
 ssures on staff and vulnerable clients\n 	Assessing organisational resilie
 nce with the NCSC My Cyber Action Toolkit\n 	Building or improving an inci
 dent response plan and including cyber in business continuity planning\n 	
 Practical steps to use Cyber PATH services to strengthen policies\, traini
 ng\, and systems\n\n\n\nWho attendedCare home owners\, registered managers
 \, governance leads\, operations managers\, mobile carers\, and those resp
 onsible for safeguarding\, compliance\, or cyber preparedness in residenti
 al and domiciliary care attended the session.\n\n\n\nAbout The CRC Network
 The Cyber Resilience Centre Network (CRC Network) is a police-led organisa
 tion established to help small and medium organisations protect themselves
  from cyber crime. Working with law enforcement\, industry partners and ac
 ademia\, it provides fully-funded guidance\, tools and services to improve
  cyber resilience across England and Wales.\n\n\n\nCRC Network Care Cyber 
 Series - Host CentreThe team from Cyber Resilience Centre for the East del
 ivered the Care Cyber Series webinars on behalf of the CRC Network. Regard
 less of where their care sector business operated\, participants were invi
 ted to join the series to learn about practical tools\, real-world example
 s and free resources available to help keep organisations\, staff and serv
 ice users safe.\n\n\n\nAbout The National Cyber Security CentreThe Nationa
 l Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the UK’s technical authority for cyber
  security. Part of GCHQ\, the NCSC provides free guidance and tools to hel
 p organisations protect against cyber threats. This includes the My Cyber 
 Action Toolkit\, a practical resource that was explored in depth during th
 e session.
