SUMMARY:Should sleep be the starting point in dementia care?
DESCRIPTION:\n\nSleep disruption is one of the most distressing and least u
nderstood aspects of dementia. Led by Thomas Tredinnick\, this webinar wil
l be supported by clinical insight from a Sleep Specialist and practical e
xperience from a Sleep Lead within a large care home group. Together they
will explore why sleep breaks down as dementia progresses\, how poor sleep
affects behaviour\, safety and health\, and what can genuinely help a per
son with dementia\, including dementia-appropriate sleep strategies.
