George joined Care England in September 2019. His work predominantly relates to ensuring that the voice of the independent sector is heard in the development of social care policy at both a local and national level.
He has particular experience in the demographic and epidemiological changes which have informed the policy landscape today following the completion of a Master’s degree at King’s College London in Public Policy and Ageing.
George is keen to ensure that the adult social care sector is well-equipped to manage these transitions, against a turbulent political and socioeconomic backdrop. George’s work centres around issues pertaining to funding, workforce, regulation and integration.
