Ioan joined Care England in April 2022, working in a dual Policy and Parliamentary Affairs Officer role.
With a BSc in Politics from King’s College London and having previously worked as a Parliamentary Researcher in the House of Lords, he is primarily responsible for Care England’s parliamentary engagement. This includes monitoring legislative, select committee and other activities, managing the Care Home Parliamentary Network and producing regular briefings and communications for Members of Parliament.
Ioan aims to ensure that Parliamentarians of all political persuasions are well informed on the challenges facing the sector and that the case for necessary reform is understood by key actors and decision-makers in the legislature and government.
