Adopt A Grandparent (AAG) is a pioneering charity dedicated to tackling loneliness among older people by fostering intergenerational connections.

Our innovative programme pairs care home residents and older individuals with volunteers based on shared interests, creating meaningful relationships that transcend age and distance. Through secure video and audio calls, volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and social interaction, enriching the lives of both parties. At the heart of our initiative is cutting-edge AI technology, which monitors emotional engagement, safeguards interactions, and provides real-time insights to ensure the highest level of care and connection.

This data-driven approach allows us to track the impact of our programme, identify those most in need of support, and continuously enhance the experience for both our volunteers and ‘grandparents’.
