
With brighter days on the horizon, leading care homes meals provider, apetito has refreshed its extensive range of meals with some brand-new dishes to enhance resident menus for the warmer months.
Within its core multiportion range, the meal provider has introduced new Jumbo Salmon Fingers, made with wild salmon. A great way to get oily fish onto the menu, this incredibly versatile dish can be served up in sandwiches, wraps or with potatoes for a balanced and satisfying option.
The new range also sees the introduction of a Katsu Curry Sauce, pairing perfectly with crispy breaded chicken and enabling customers to improve their everyday dishes. Alongside this is the elevation to a classic British ingredient, the humble pea. apetito’s new Mushy Peas are made with carefully selected AA-grade peas to deliver a vibrant flavour – the perfect accompaniment to many meals.
The company is also introducing more desserts. Its new Apricot Crumble is made with 50% fruit filling and topped with a delicious oat crumble topping, making it the perfect healthier choice, whilst still packed with flavour. The new plant-based Coconut Rice Pudding is made without the 14 major allergens, whilst Gluten Free Vanilla Sponge is light, soft and comforting. Both dishes have been designed so they can be customised with a wide range of toppings to suit all tastes.
