Distinguished Care Group is a relatively new addition to the provider landscape bringing together two services – nursing and residential – owned and operated for 40 years by the Gill family and adding a new residential care addition recently purchased from MHA. The group therefore launched in January 2025 with 130 beds and a new director and Ni appointed to manage the services and to lead group growth and compliance
With ambitious growth plans and just as ambitious plans to provide superb person led care, to be an innovative, responsive and responsible employer and to bring families, friends and stakeholders into the group as partners and critical friends as we all plot the road to outstanding outcomes
Based in the North the group intends to have a footprint from York to the Scottish boarders and from Blyth to the lake district and to specialise in nursing care for those living with a dementia or related syndrome
