Workshop Three – Resilience, Recovery & Incident Response
Recognising the urgent need to share this message and imbue resilience in the care sector, the Cyber Centre of Excellence, Digital Care Hub, and Care England are proudly partnering to deliver the second in a three-part series of educational cyber security workshops designed to prepare all members of the care sector to defend against modern cyber-attacks.
The free online session aims to empower care leaders, managers and frontline teams from residential and domiciliary care environments with practical, jargon-free advice on how to build digital resilience and protect their organisations from growing cyber threats.
In the 90-minute session, we will strike a balance between education and interaction, ensuring care providers of all technical abilities can participate. The structure includes one hour of educational content and games followed by an optional 30-minute open Q&A discussion to address any pressing concerns about cyber risks.
Workshop Three, the final session, will focus on continuity and recovery planning. It will provide templates, checklists, and exercises to help organisations prepare for and respond to cyber incidents. Participants will explore tools such as digital twin visualisation and tabletop exercises to build stronger preparedness and resilience.
