Promoting Mental Health in the Workplace - Webinar

Event Type

On 14 September, Care England held a webinar with Care Business Associate Training (CBAT) on promoting mental health in the workplace. Approximately, 1 in 4 people experience mental health issues each year (MHFA, 2020). Work can often aggravate mental health issues due to various factors. High levels of stress, demanding workloads, long working hours, and tight deadlines can contribute to increased anxiety, depression, and burnout. Whether work is causing the health issue or aggravating it, employers have a legal responsibility to help those who work for them. Which is why it is so important to discuss mental health in the workplace and create a safe space where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive both personally and professionally.

CBAT are one of the UK’s leading care training providers. They are founded with a single guiding principle – to advance education in the field of Health and Social Care.

CBAT offer a FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) which covers a wide range of mental health conditions and goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition. Details for this training can be found here. For queries, please email sales@cba-training.co.uk.
