Professionals working in the social care sector were invited to attend a free, one-hour webinar designed to strengthen safeguarding practices against the financial and emotional impact of fraud and cyber crime. The session was led by experts from the Police Fraud and Cyber Protect network.

As digital threats continue to evolve, so too must our efforts to protect vulnerable individuals and the services that support them. This webinar provided practical guidance on identifying and responding to fraud and cyber scams, with a focus on safeguarding both staff and service users.

What Participants Learned:

  • How to spot common fraud and cyber scams targeting care providers and the people they support
  • Real-world case studies and lessons learned
  • Where to go for help and how to report incidents

Whether frontline staff, managers, or part of the wider support network, the session equipped attendees with the knowledge and tools to stay cyber safe and fraud aware.
