A recording of the webinar can reviewed below.
Following the release of alsico’s research into the experiences of care workers across the UK last September, this webinar brought together sector leaders to explore what the findings meant in practice, and how providers turned insight into action.
The research highlighted the key drivers of job satisfaction and retention, from physical comfort and injury prevention to emotional wellbeing, career development and workplace support during menopause. While many organisations are already leading the way, the findings also revealed clear opportunities for improvement, often through small, practical changes rather than major investment.
In this session, speakers from Alsico, Care England discussed:
- The most significant data insights and what they reveal about today’s workforce
- The biggest risks to retention and how to address them
- Where the sector is already performing well
- How physical, emotional and practical support work together to strengthen morale
- Why factors such as training, communication and even uniform design play a greater role in workforce wellbeing than many realise
Attendees gained practical ideas to implement within their own organisations, along with a clearer understanding of how to assess their current approach to staff support.
This webinar was designed for care home leaders, HR professionals and decision-makers who are committed to improving workforce engagement and building sustainable, high-quality care environments.
