To address the critical workforce shortage in the UK adult social care sector, IIHS has partnered with Care England to create a sustainable, ethical migration pathway for qualified Sri Lankan care professionals.

Key aspects of this collaboration include:

• Health and Social Care Assistance (HSCA) Certificate Program: A UK-aligned curriculum launched in 2021, equipping candidates with the competencies required to work in the adult social care sector in England.

• Ethical Recruitment: IIHS strictly adheres to the WHO Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel and the UK’s Code of Practice for International Recruitment.
