The organisation said the evolution reflects the breadth of support it delivers today, including person-led care across residential, respite and nursing services, alongside specialist dementia and mental health care through its Reconnect communities.

Orchard supports up to 1,260 people across 23 care homes in the North of England and the Midlands, including people living with advanced dementia, mental health conditions and complex nursing needs. The rebrand also sharpens focus on Reconnect – Orchard’s specialist services provision for people whose needs may be too complex for traditional care settings.

The group’s Reconnect Dementia and Reconnect Mental Health communities provide tailored, therapeutic support that protects dignity, builds independence and improves day-to-day wellbeing, delivered by multi-disciplinary teams. Support is tailored around each person’s own story, strengths and routines, in calm, homely spaces designed for meaningful activity.

Hayden Knight, CEO, said:

‘This is a defining moment for our organisation and an important step forward as we continue to grow. Rebranding to Orchard Healthcare Group reflects both how far we’ve come and the direction we’re heading in.’

‘We’re proud to combine compassionate support with strong clinical practice and truly personalised care, from specialist dementia and mental health services to nursing and residential care. Importantly, while our name is changing, what matters most stays the same. Residents will continue to receive the same high-quality care from the teams they know and trust, in the homes they know as their own. Our new identity simply gives a clearer picture of the breadth of what we do and our commitment to helping people live meaningful, fulfilling lives.’

The new brand goes live across all homes from 30th April. Day-to-day services will continue as normal. Updated signage, a refreshed visual identity and an improved website experience will roll out as part of the change.

Orchard Healthcare Group will continue to strengthen specialist teams, services and environments to deliver consistently high-quality care for people with complex needs.
