Riverside Care Complex is operated by Sure Healthcare Ltd, it is a family run business set in the countryside of Kexby next to the River Derwent just o the outskirts of York City Centre.  Sure Healthcare Ltd acquired Derwent House in 2008 and built Riverview Lodge, a specialist Dementia Unit in 2015.

Riverside Care Complex comprises of 2 separate communities, these are Derwent House which is a Residential Home and Riverview Lodge which is a Specialist Dementia Community with its own Sensory Gardens.  Our fundamental mission is to provide Care of the highest quality, giving comfort and friendship within a homely atmosphere whilst respecting and being sensitive to the individual needs, wishes and choices of all our residents.
