Families are no longer on the edges of care. They are central to how care is experienced, understood and judged. For many leaders, the challenge is not whether families care deeply, but whether current approaches genuinely deliver the reassurance families expect.
New research by Log my Care in partnership with Care England explores what really shapes family confidence in care today. It goes beyond assumptions and asks difficult questions about communication, visibility and trust in everyday practice. For leaders, the research creates an opportunity to reflect honestly on whether existing approaches are aligned with how families actually experience care, particularly when services are under pressure.
The findings invite senior decision makers to consider where confidence is being built quietly and where it may be eroding unnoticed. They also provide a framework for leaders to test whether what they believe is reassuring families truly matches reality.
Join us on Tuesday 24th February for exclusive sector insight on the research findings
The research will be launched at an in-person event in Fitzrovia, near Tottenham Court Road, London, with refreshments bringing together senior leaders and decision makers for a focused discussion on family confidence, communication and leadership responsibility.
This event is designed for those with responsibility for quality, delivery and oversight who want to sense check their current approach against emerging evidence and reflect on what alignment really looks like in practice.
