Around 70% of people with dementia live at home and will develop bladder or bowel incontinence or toilet-use problems as their dementia progresses. This is a major cause of movement from home to residential care. The DemCon project has produced bespoke resources for four key groups: people with dementia; family carers; homecare workers and healthcare professionals, to help maintain independence and/or provide relevant support to people with dementia in their management of continence.

Join this webinar – presented by Prof Cathy Murphy, Professor of Continence, and Dr Barbara Bradbury, Senior Research Fellow, School of Health Sciences, University of Southampton – to find out more about these free resources and how to use them to help yourself or someone you are supporting.
