Series 2, Webinar 2 - Discover Cyber PATH Free Cyber Resilience Services for the Care Sector

A recording of the webinar can reviewed below, and a copy of the slides can be found HERE.

You don’t need to be a tech expert to make your care service safer from cyber threats – and you don’t have to do it alone. This session was part 2 of the CRC Network Care Cyber Series, delivered in partnership with Care Providers Alliance and Care England.

This webinar introduced the fully-funded Cyber PATH programme, delivered through the Cyber Resilience Centre Network, which gave care providers fully funded professional support to help improve their organisation’s cyber resilience. Services included vulnerability checks, staff training, and Microsoft 354 reviews, all explained in plain, easy-to-understand language.

Whether attendees were preparing for Cyber Essentials accreditation, meeting commissioner requirements, or simply wanted to better protect residents, staff, and data, the session showed the support available and how to access it.

What the session covered

  • Everyday cyber risks in care settings, simple examples of threats services could face
  • An overview of fully-funded Cyber PATH services available to care providers
  • Case study: How Dorothy Parkes Centre strengthened their cyber resilience using Cyber PATH services
  • How to book free Cyber PATH support and what to expect

Who attended

Anyone working in residential and domiciliary care settings attended, including care home owners, registered managers, senior leaders, governance leads, frontline staff and those responsible for safeguarding.

No technical knowledge was required, the session was designed to be accessible and practical for all.
